Yarn: Patons Classic Wool DK Superwash, 1 skein in Gold
Hook: 4.00mm/G6
Scissors, Yarn needle

Join three motifs for each wrister to begin the project.


Stitch guide: Picot is ch 3, sl st in first chain of the ch 3, continue with next st

Wrister / Cuff:

Round 1: Join in corner of motif, ch 1 (does not count as a stitch) and dc in same sp, dc in dc, ch 1, sk the next dc and hdc, dc in sc, dc in ch 3 sp, dc in next sc, ch 1, sk next hdc and dc, dc in next sc, dc in ch 3 sp, dc in sc, ch 1, sk next hdc and dc, dc in next dc, dc in corner sp, dc in net motif corner sp, dc in dc, ch 1, sk next dc and hdc, dc in sc, dc in ch 3 sp, dc in sc, ch 1, sk next hdc and dc, dc in dc, dc in corner sp, join with sl st in top of first dc = 21 dc in groups of three and four stitches, 6 ch 1 sps

Round 2: ch 1 (does not count as a stitch) and dc in same st, dc in ea dc around, ch 1 over ea ch 1 sp, join with sl st in beg dc = 21 dc, 6 ch 1 sps

Round 3: ch 1 (does not count as a stitch) and hdc in that same st, hdc in ea dc around, ignoring the ch 1 sps, join with sl st in top of beg hdc = 21 hdc

Round 4: Repeat Round 3 = 21 hdc

Round 5: ch 1 (does not count as a stitch) and dc in same st, ch 2, *sk next hdc, dc in next hdc,* rep from * to * around, ch 2, join with sl st in first dc = 11 dc

Round 6: ch 1 (does not count as a stitch) and dc in same st, *2 dc in ch 2 sp, dc in next dc*, rep from * to * around, 2 dc in next ch 2 sp, join with sl st in top of beg dc = 33 dc

Round 7: ch 1 (does not count as a stitch)  and hdc in same st, hdc in next dc *picot, hdc in next 3 dc, picot, hdc in next 3 dc*, rep from * to * around, picot, join with sl st in top of beg hdc, fasten off

 The cool thing I figured out while making these was that they can be worn two different ways; as a wrister or a cuff. I love this little project <3
